Tick-Tock, Time's Up, You're Dead!

It's about TIME we did a Time Travel Happy Horror Hour. We'll be discussing five movies that are sure to send you for a loop... a TIME LOOP that is. Hop into the Time Machine with us and watch these Terrifying Time-Twisting films. Then we'll have a Terrific Time discussing them over food and drinks.

All of these are streaming on Prime except Happy Death Day (on HBO), and that movie has a sequel, if you're interested

Speaking of sequels: in case you didn't know, Army of Darkness is a direct sequel to Evil Dead II, and it picks up right where Evil Dead II ends. If you haven't seen Evil Dead II yet, I HIGHLY recommend you watch it first. It's absolutely one of the greatest horror comedies ever made.

And yes, Donnie Darko isn't technically horror, but we make exceptions for horror-adjacent films, and that one is spooky enough to count. There is a Director's Cut available to stream too, if you prefer to watch that version.

HOW HAPPY HORROR HOUR WORKS

Before the event …

• Watch the movies from the Watch List at home on your own. We do not watch movies at the actual event. Think of it like a book club. It's not a requirement to watch all the movies on the Watch List to attend. However, watching at least a few is highly encouraged as you'll have a lot more fun during the discussion. ***If you have content sensitivities, **you can look up movies on doesthedogdie.com and/or unconsentingmedia.org to review warnings. ***Keep your RSVP up-to-date. **If you can't make it out, update your RSVP at least 24 hours beforehand. If there is a waitlist, attendance will be taken and "no shows" will be marked.

At the event …

*** We’re a friendly welcoming bunch and we love new folks! **😍 *** Please purchase something (even if just a soda) while you’re at the restaurant. **They’re running a business but being super awesome by giving us a space to meet for free. Also, please tip our servers. We’re a big bunch to wrangle.
